OX uses mainly painting to create his images .The material often comes from
visuals used in the medias .This commercial imagery deturnded is sometimes recycled
in a pseudo promotional circuit such as advertizing billboards .

In the heady days of the mid to late 80s when Warhol collaborated with Basquiat and Keith Haring's Magic Babies sprang up everywhere and suddenly Graitti was embraced by the fine art world, Parisian kings of the new art crop were Les Freres Ripoulin.

Working in the revolutionary context of affichage, or postering, the Ripoulin were six boys and one girl who painted giant pictures, usually on the floor.
